LIST HYGIENE

addresses. Bamberg-Handley's list cleaning assures deliverable addresses
that meet Postal Service standards for the lowest possible rates.
This product is a very basic but mandatory service. The basic process
reads your file (which is never changed) and writes another file with
standardized address,
city, and State. When necessary, cities, States, and ZIP Codes are
corrected. The proper Plus 4, Carrier Route, Delivery Point, and County are also
included in the output file. This service comes with several options:

Proper Fielding - From a disorganized database, puts most names, companies, titles,
addresses, cities, States, and ZIP Codes, into the proper fields.

Enhanced Change of Address - Checks every individual and company name and address against
the Postal Service National Change of Address File. It further compares each record to
subscription records from dozens of major publications. New addresses are written to the output
record.

Geocoding - This process adds the probable longitude and latitude to every record
for use within popular mapping systems.

Sophisticated De-Duplication - Checks names and addresses in your entire database for
likely duplicates, even with misspellings. Probable duplicates are indicated.

Genderization - Based on given names, the probable gender of each individual is written
to the output file.

Census Relationship - Adds the probable Census Tract and Census Block Group to each record.
This permits direct use of Census data to analyze demographics.
