Whereas there might be a single ZIP Code Plus 4, assigned to all addresses from 101 Main Street to 199 Main Street, the center of that Plus 4 may be close but not exact, perhaps 150 feet from 123 Main Street. Matching records to actual street addresses removes this margin of error.
